YANUS FACE Tutorial

How to use YanusFace

#1 Get base model

-Run YanusFACE.

-Check the license.

-Import the base model.

-Check if the animation works well

#2 Create a blend shape

-Create a blend shape.

-Check if the animation works well.

-Check the baking group.

#3 Bake Edit function

-Select a controller.

Initiate the task by calling -Bake.

-Select the mesh to bake.

-Edit Bake.

-Adjusts the skin structure around the mouth to be softer.

-Main model automatically adjusts when Bake changes.

#4 Create a mod

-Create a model.

-Add horns to your model and modify mods.

- Zoom in on the model's nose.

-After completing the task, you will need to update BLendShapes for the changes to take effect.

-Check if the animation works well.

- Zoom in on the screen and see how your nose moves.

#5 New Mode Action

-Import pre-prepared models.

-To apply the new mode, BlendShapes must be updated.

-It may take some time while BlendShapes is updating.

-Check the animation of the model.

-Check the applied bake.

#6 Mirror function

-Make the model smile.

-Edit one side to intentionally create asymmetry.

-Edit one side to intentionally create asymmetry.

-Use the mirror function to adjust asymmetry.

-Check the animation of the model.

-You can use the mirror function in the opposite direction to achieve asymmetry.

#7 Split function

-Calls the Split function.

- Edit the two hemispheres to form the desired facial expression.

-Once the facial expression is complete, update and apply BlendShapes.

-Check the model’s animation to make sure the facial expressions are applied well.

#8 Corrective Expression

-Look for unnatural facial expressions on the model.

-Calls the Corrective Expression function.

-Edit Bake.

- After applying the changes, check again to see if

-Check whether the unnaturalness has improved.

-When selecting a new controller, controllers that participated in its creation will be highlighted.

-You can re-edit the bake as needed.

#9 Attaching a new object

-Get a new object (mask).

-Ensure that imported objects are loaded correctly.

-New objects will not be attached to the main Mesh until you use the Attach New Object function.

-Calls the Attach new object function.

-Ensure that the alignment of the attached object is smooth.

-If there are no special problems, proceed to the next step.

-Update BlendShapes with new objects attached.

-Call Bake after updating

-The new object is attached correctly and can now be edited.

-Try to make sure the eyebrows do not stick out above the mask.

-Check that the mask is properly attached to the object.

-Check the animation of the model.

#10 Change Topology

-Remove all unnecessary objects to change topology.

-Update BlendShapes.

- Import a new Topology.

-Compare the new Topology with the old Topology.

- Set object replacement options and use the new Topology feature.

-Update BlendShapes.

-Check the animation.

-Get fixes for updated Topology.

-Update BlendShapes again.

-Check the animation again.

#11 Meta Human

-Run YanusFACE.

-Import the MetaHuman model.

-Set the necessary parameters.

-Check the bones of the model.

-Create BlendShapes.

-Check the created BlendShapes.

-Delete bones in the model.

-Call Bake.

-Proceed with editing if necessary.

#12 Advanced Skeleton

-Run YanusFACE.

- Import advanced Advanced Skeleton models.

-Get the MetaHuman GUI.

-Change the settings with the set parameters.

-Delete NameSpace.

-Create BlendShapes.

-Remove all unnecessary items.

-Check the animation.

-Activates objects without animation.

-Edit Bake.

-Create a mod.

-Update BlendShapes.

#13 Maya To Blender

-Import the base model.

-Create BlendShapes.

-Select Bake.

-Export the object to Blender.

-Edit objects in Blender.

-Export modified objects as OBJ files.

-Load the modified object.

-Check the animation.
